I. Executive Summary
Our company , Computer Hospital is a computer repair and building service. Our main
business is to sell repair services to people who want their computer fixed and people who want
a computer built. Unlike other businesses, We strive to be quick but maintain a high quality
standard to make our company look like a great option over other competition. Our company is
targeting the population that just want repairs on their computer but don't want to wait 6 weeks
or spend $100 of dollars on something tiny, we target the middle class around the age of 18-55
years old where they want repairs to their computers. We will initially use my garage to set up
my service as getting a building is expensive and I own a house which can save lots of costs.
The tools we need can be bought for about $300 in total with the spare parts probably going
around $300-1000 making our business easier to fund than most, our company tries to makes
sure we make quick repairs but we also have to have a good job in doing it or else people won't
come back making quality necessary. While this business could start out slow, over time is
should looks like a viable option for people to go repair their computers at.

II. Problem
Almost everyone today has some type of laptop or desktop computer, and almost
everybody has have troubles with it. Also many people are interested in building their
computers, usually the younger generations who are more interested in technology then the older
generation at the moment. Computer repairs currently required most people to look online and
figure out how to fix stuff and may accidentally break their computers even more, and most
shops require you to wait weeks until they actually touch your computer. Computer building is
risky, it doesnt always work out one static shock could damage the thing wasting potentially
thousands of dollars.

III. Customer Segments


The target customers would be computer enthusiasts, people who use a computer
everyday around the middle class around the country. Everybody will have computer issues
eventually, and currently 84% of all U.S household have at least 1 computer. Currently lots of
people have computer issues and when they go to the repair shops it could be expensive and take
6 weeks or longer and it could be something that could be fixed in less than a half an hour.

People nowadays use lots a space and currently store excess space into a desktop or cloud,
because of this people would want to invest in a bigger hard drive but would have to open up
their computer. We would help with this by installing the hard drive for them freeing them the
hassle.

IV. Unique Value Proposition


The main issues currently with the computer repair industry is they are mostly slow and
expensive and sometimes the the technician can be unreliable and maybe he didnt do anything.
With us we want to be very convenient and undercut the competition while establishing a good
quality brand. We would be less hassle and more convenient by going home to home while still
having a shop for supplies and in store repair. Making customers have a choice of where they
want their computer repaired.

V. Solution
Currently as I stated the issues are computer repair can take weeks to months and at that
rate its far more faster just to buy a new computer or fix it yourself, and its expensive they can
take your wallet by just fixing a minor issue that could just taken 30 minutes to fix yourself. I
believe the best solutions for this is to provide an mobile service in complementary to the store.

VI. Channels
The best way for our company to get well known is word of mouth, it is very reliable as
people tend to trust friends and family more than a ad on a billboard will ever give, and the best
part of it all is word of mouth is free. However, of course its still almost mandatory to have
some types of ads. One common and cheap way will probably be flyers that could be mailed or
put on the windshield of cars which will have attract some attention.

VII. Revenue Streams


To earn money we will sell our services to repair or build computers. A simple computer
repair can range from $25-55, with new parts requiring extra. Building a computer will cost $60-
75 with parts costing extra. We will also turn some profit by selling computer parts and
softwares. We also have a pickup service where we can drive to your house to pick up your

computers for convenience which will cost $15, you can either come pick up the computer later
or we can drop it back off at a scheduled time with no extra costs.

VIII. Cost Structure


For advertisement we would use 100-200 flyers which would cost me around $20 if each
flyer cost only 2 cents to print and make. We would also use word of mouth which should help
long term and it should be mostly free. We could also later go advertising online through social
media.

We can help keep our business going by selling at least 10 repairs a month, to get
awareness to our business we need to get a good reputation and if we maintain a good
relationship for with our customers we be able to keep longtime customers that rely on us and
introduce more customers allowing more business.

XI. Competitive Advantage


We have an edge over our competition like Geek squads as we prefer to make out repairs
and building computer services more affordable and try to work fast to give you a working
computer again with quality repairs. We also have a pickup service which we can drive to your
house to pick up your computer which could save some time.

XII. Conclusion
In conclusion our company Computer Hospital is a computer repair/building service that
tries to be efficient, cheap and retain high quality repairs and builds. While starting a business
like this may be tough, if we face the challenge correctly we could get the ball rolling and have a
great service. By getting longtime customers, we could attract attention that probably want to
use us to fix their computers which could generate more revenue in the future.
