Duck TV at the University of Oregon Now Accepting Creative

Show Scripts

Each term, the University of Oregons student-run television

network, Duck TV, produces six creative shows written by students.

Creative executive producers Jesse Nava and Vincent Hand will review

show pitches for winter term productions this November 17 and 18 in

Allen 332 at 6 p.m. We are very excited to see what creative ideas

students have this term, shared Jesse.

Students should bring drafts of scripts for the first two episodes.

However, students can simply bring an outline of creative strategies.

Applicants must be willing to work on their selected show as a

producer. Applicants should have strong leadership, written and verbal

communication skills. If applicants are not comfortable within a

leadership role, they might want to consider a co-producer role. Each

applicant will be expected to help produce five episodes total for the

term. Shows are typically three-to-five minutes in length but have an

eight-minute cap.

You do not need to be a member of the Duck TV team to apply-

all students are welcome. Previous experience is desired but not

required. Candidates should have some prior knowledge of past Duck

TV productions. Previous creative show episodes can be found on our

website.
