Social Action Production Proposal
Name of production
There has been a mass increase in property development in the last couple
of years and with many plans in the near future, there has been many
negative effects of development.
Including property development over 86% green belt land

The angle I am trying to get across to the audience is despite the clear
benefits of property development. I want to show that these things also
bring a negative effect with them. My production is to provide information,
not to be biased.
I just want to say information throughout, but I hopefully want to inform
Maidenhead about all effects of property development, before The Royal
Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Borough Local Plan Consultation has
been executed.
Middle:
The middle will include the break down analysis of the 3 topics, in detail with
the negative effects of all of them, one after another, with a relevant
interview for each section.
End:
The end will be my full conclusion, in this part I will also explain the negative
effects do also have positive benefits, so I do not be seen biased. As the
purpose of my social action is only to provide information and raise
awareness, not to persuade my audience.
Target Audience and why
The social actions raised issues, the older aged people who have lived in
Maidenhead for a long period of their life, who are more likely to care about
Maidenheads future projects, will interest not everyone in Maidenhead.
So despite my mixed audiences of topics, I believe I must aim for the older
proportion of Maidenhead that care about the towns heritage and wellbeing,
who could potentially have an impact. Im not saying its impossible for a
younger audience to-do that, just it is more unlikely as they have more
important issues going on in their life.
In the 2011 census the population of Windsor and Maidenhead was 144,560
and is made up of approximately 51% females and 49% males. The average
age of people in Windsor and Maidenhead is 40, while the median age is also
40.

I will use YouTube to upload my social action. YouTube has over a billion
users, almost one-third of all people on the Internet and everyday people
watch hundreds of millions of hours on YouTube and generate billions of
views.
The youth effected by the increase in property value, will be easily reached
he uploading my social action to multiple social medias such as YouTube,
Facebook and Twitter
