The member said she started feeling palpitations

yesterday. As we talked further, I learned the onset
coincided with her visit to an urgent care center where
she was prescribed medication for a urinary tract
infection.
On the physical exam, I noted a new arrhythmia she did
not have before.
I contacted the urgent care center, discussed the case
and reviewed the urine culture results for the member. It
was agreed a different medication for the urinary tract
infection would be called in.
The member was very pleased with the prompt
intervention and resulting change in medication.
