SEC 5 - MEES EXAM

Your Plan
When you get the question, consider your true opinion on the matter and
decide if it is easy to defend and support. If it isnt, take the other side!
Build a strong thesis statement (most important sentence of your text;
should be the last sentence of your introduction).
Come up with 2 arguments (2 topic sentences), one to start each
paragraph.
For each argument, make notes on how you will prove your point (facts,
info, examples, anecdotes, etc.)
For the conclusion, decide which type you want to use (traditional? Call to
Action? Make a suggestion? Prediction?) Make notes on what it will
include.
Back to the intro: Come up with a good hook (sujet amen). Dont
make it too wide, it should tell the reader what your text will be about.
Make a link between your hook and your thesis statement (problem?).
Now compose your draft.
