Madrid

Madrid is a capital of Spain. Spain is known by Matador country. Madrid is a

biggest city in this Matador country. Madrid also noted as the 3rd biggest city of Uni
Europe, after London and Berlin. It overall has wide is 604,3 km2.
The word Madrid are from the Latin Ursaria (that is Bear Ground). That
name was given because there is a lot of bear in the forest around Madrid. Together
with strawberry tree (in Spanish called madrono), a bear become a symbol of Madrid
since middle ages. And because of that, there is The Bear and the Strawberry Tree
sculpture, at 4 metres and 20 tonnes of bronze. In Spanish named El Oso y el
Madrono.
Madrid has an old food name is Tapas. There is so many type of Tapas. The
famous one is Croqueta de Bacalao. It contains cod fish with seasoned flour and then
it fried.
Madrid has one unique tradition. It is a Siesta Competition. It held because in
Madrid a lot of people forget to take a rest while they are working so hard. And it may
help a resident to take a rest for a while.
Local people really kind and friendly. Its really match with the weather. Overall,
