During the 2016 2017 school year, as a student teacher, I will manage students behavior by 1) setting clear expectations and following through with
them, 2) keeping track of the students behavior over the course of the semester, and 3) misdirecting negative behavior. This will be measured through
anecdotal records being kept on individual students.

During the 2016 2017 school year, as a student teacher I will be using a variety of techniques to encourage student participation by 1) Asking open
ended questions throughout the lesson, and 2) using differing discussion techniques to allow the children to share with one another what they are
learning. This will be measured through ensuring all students respond to teacher questions and are able to participate in a discussion for 3 minutes
