Cooling Water System On-line Clean Up

Product: Nalprep 2001

Treatment: Nalprep 2001 can be used to a system with light to moderate scale and
oxide deposits.

1. Dose system at .5 gallon of Nalprep 2001 for each 8 gallons of cooling

system capacity.

2. Operate the cooling system as normal with this solution for 30 days.

3. Drop the system and flush with fresh water to remove debris and scale.
(Note: This is very important, as Nalprep 2001 will not completely
dissolve scale, as would an acid. If the scale is left in the system it may
cause damage to seals, etc.)

4. Recharge the system with quality low hardness feed water and the
appropriate dosage of Nalcool 2000 at 4-5% or nitrite reserve between
1000 1500 ppm.
