NAZARENE MISSIONS INTERNATIONAL
The Crisis Care Kits (CCKs) Ministry is a
cooperative effort between Nazarene
Compassionate Ministries and Nazarene
Missions International. These kits are
distributed in emergency situations to help
individuals who have been affected by
natural disasters such as tornados, winter
storms, hurricanes, earthquakes, etc.
CCKs are greatly needed to continue to
meet the needs around the world. The kits
have gone to places like California;
Greensburg, KS; Louisiana; New Jersey;
Belize; Dominican Republic; Haiti;
Jamaica; Jordan; Philippines; Senegal; Sri
Lanka; Ukraine and Zambia. Your
generosity makes an incredible difference!
Two gallon zip lock bags are available at
the NMI table in the hallway. Each bag
MUST be filled with the following items.
No deviations or substitutions. Deviating
from this list can cause an entire shipment
to be rejected in customs.

Each Crisis Care Kit (CCK) should contain only the items/quantities
listed. Place all items into a 2-gallon zip-lock bag.
Our Goal is 42 kits!
All kits need to be turned in by July 2nd
Each week, we have a team that visits the
womens section of the Franklin County Jail. We
are privileged to have a Bible study with them,
pray with them, talk with them and most of all:
show them love and compassion. We have been
able to provide the ladies with a Bible, some note cards and envelopes.
Sometimes, we even have the opportunity to provide hygiene products.
There is a designated Jail Ministry Fund to help cover the cost of
helping/working with these individuals. You may donate to this fund at
any time. Just mark your check Jail Ministry. Please continue to pray
for our Jail / Prison Ministry as we minister to these ladies. God is
making a difference in their lives.

Did you know that 2015-2016 was a record year for abortions
and profits? According to Planned Parenthood's report, services for
women are down across the board -- except for one area: abortion.
While the vital medical care plunged, the groups primary
moneymaker raked in more than ever. It was one of the bloodiest years
in the organizations history, making the Memorial Day release of the
report an eerie irony. As National Review points out, "the new report
lists 328,348 abortions in the U.S. during the 2015-16 fiscal year, up
nearly 5,000 over the previous year. In one of the biggest shocks of
the report, abortions now outnumber basic breast exams for the first
time in Planned Parenthoods history. Thats not difficult to believe
since overall health screenings have dropped by half since 2011.
Cancer exams, the go-to talking point for Planned Parenthoods
defenders, are down a whopping 16,974 at Planned Parenthood
clinics. The number of mammograms performed at Planned
Parenthood stayed the same: zero. Even contraception counseling, the
groups bread-and-butter, fell by 136,244. They even saw 100,000
fewer patients than the year before! Taxpayers chipped in the lions
share of Planned Parenthood's budget. For the fourth time in as many
years, Planned Parenthood's nonprofit is celebrating more than a
billion dollars in total revenue -- and almost half of it came courtesy of
U.S. taxpayers. For all of Planned Parenthoods scandals (including
the latest), it still managed to squeeze $554.6 million out of federal,
state, and local governments. And judging by its $77 million profit, the
organization hardly needed the money! In the latest version of the
American Health Care Act. Under the House plan, Planned
Parenthoods group would stand to lose a huge slice of its Medicaid
funding (80 percent) which happens to be one of the bills biggest
selling points.
