Conclusion

This experiment is a success as we managed to obtain the performance characteristic for a

variable speed of centrifugal pump operating at 3 different impeller speeds. Those
performance characteristic are Pressure (head) jump, Power requirement, Flow rate influence
and Pump speed influence. Apart from that, from the data obtained, we also managed to plot
the performance in head along with the efficiency curve and shaft (in BHP) against capacity.
