• Keith Jarrett and Charlie Haden need no introduction to the core jazz fan – for that
matter, they need little introduction to the average music lover.
• Their music has touched many a listener over the years – Haden beginning his career in
the late ‘50s when the young kid with the bass hooked up with Ornette Coleman, who
was then creating never-before –heard –sounds out in LA.
• Jarrett, after playing with Art Blakey and Charles Lloyd, hooked up with Haden and ECM
label mate, Paul Motian, releasing an album in 1967.
