Music Video Shooting Script
Description of visuals
Guy in bed, checks his phone. Sees no
new notifications, not even from his
girlfriend. He lets go of his phone and
lets it drop to the floor
Guy is now on the phone, on the street
or by the river. The girl eventually
appears, looking fed up of what the
guy is saying to her.
Scenes of guy praying, looking hopeless
but also desperate to keep his
relationship going
The atmosphere suddenly becomes
sunnier now that his girlfriend is with him
again and that theyre doing things
together.
He goes back to his depressed self
again but is hopeful that he will get
back with his now ex-girlfriend someday
He continues to reflect on his girlfriend,
how she is, when he was with her etc.
but then scenes of her new life appear
after their relationship is over
Guy is praying, hoping that the girl will
stay with him in desperation to save his
relationship

Clearances and Confirmations
You need confirmation emails from everyone that is featuring in your music
video. Please screenshot these emails including the dates and times they are
agreeing to paste them below.

I do not need permission for anything that I am filming as they are all in public
settings
Contingency Plan
What are your plans for if something goes wrong? What back
up actors, locations and equipment do you have?
What if some actors dont turn up?
What if the weather is bad?
What if we cannot visit the planned locations
for certain reasons?
What if some of our equipment fails?
Have alternative actors lined up, otherwise
known as understudies. We will probably
continue to film in the same locations as
before. However, the way we would film some
scenes would have to change as the official
camera operator in question wouldnt be there,
so wed need to take turns to film each other in
the same setting, one after another.
Have an alternative date lined up and
constantly check the weather forecast. Set
alternative days for filming if the weather is so
bad to avoid bad contingency and damaging
equipment. In my case, I have set Monday 29th
May to film the music video, with Wednesday
31st May as the day to film extra scenes or redo
them if not enough has been filmed, some have
issues or the weather is bad
Find alternative locations. Eg. If we cannot film
in places like Richmond-upon-Thames and
Maidenhead Bridge for the music video, then
we can just film in Henley-on-Thames and
Marlow as they are closer to us, easier to get to
and yet they are also nice, riverside settings
with well-preserved high streets about too
Have back up equipment ready like a second
camera, second SD Card etc.
