THE COUNTDOWN TO NATIONAL COLLECTION
WEEK BEGINS: Oksansa Nelson received an Operation
Christmas Child shoe box gift while living in a Russian
Orphanage. Come hear her share how a shoe box gift
changed her life! Next Sunday, August 8th @ 2pm at
Brandon Baptist Church (13513 Sycamore Rd. Mt.
Vernon). For more information call the Great Lakes Office

the most friends!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
is quickly approaching! August 9-13. Have you
signed your child up yet? It’s not too late. Stop by
the table in the foyer following service today to get
your child signed up!
THE FRIENDS CAFÉ is in need of some more Café
workers. If you would like to volunteer your time on
Sunday mornings in our Café, please contact Karen
Retterer at 740-389-1944. They are currently looking
to fill two time slots each month.
PLEASE NOTE: In order to reduce the amount of
cleaning needed through the week, the shower
rooms will be locked except when needed for sports
events.
MEN’S TRAP SHOOT - Will be held this coming
Saturday, August 7th 6:00-9:00 pm. at Phil
McChesney's home: 4915 Twp. Rd.126. (Airport
Rd.). Men of all ages invited, bring shot gun, shells,
a drink, bag of chips or snacks, and lawn chair. We'll
supply clay pigeons, sloppy Joes's, and hot dogs.
