How it can be used
Teachers can create a multiple choice quiz to review
vocabulary or facts. Students get points for both
quickest and correct response. Kahoots are easy to
make and can be used to review material.
Teachers can record what they are doing on a
computer screen and create an instructional video.
The video can be uploaded to YouTube and posted on
Google Classroom or a website for student viewing.
Teachers can us NearPod to create a presentation to
introduce material to their students. Within the lesson
the teacher can have activities or questions that the
student can complete on their own devices and
receive reports on how well the students performed
on the activities or quizzes.
Teachers can create a quiz or a multiple choice
assignment in Google Forms and have it populate a
Google Sheet. The quiz can be automatically graded
by Flubaroo, the teacher is sent statistics on the
questions and how the students did and the student is
sent their grade immediately. Saves time for grading
and gives prompt feedback to students.
Teachers can set up a Linoit board and pose a question
for discussion. Students can respond on their own
device and include photos, if they like.
Teachers can use Prezi to create a presentation to
share with the students. Students can use Prezi to
create presentations at the end of a project or
whenever a teacher may assign students to create a
presentation.
Plickers is great for reviewing information in
preparation for a quiz

students. Students can complete the
assignments online and turn them in.

can be downloaded to a device or
used from a computer to send
reminder messages to parents and/or
students.
Quizlet https://quizlet.com/ Quizlet is a tool that can be used on
the computer or as an app on a
mobile device that allows for the
creation of question and answers.
Teachers can use Google Classroom to post a narrated
Power Point and a Graphic Notes organizer and have
students listen to the Power point and take notes on a
day that the teacher is absent and has a substitute in
the room. Google Classroom can be used for any
assignment and teachers can grade, leave comments
and/or communicate directly with the student about
the assignment through the virtual classroom.
Teachers can have parents and students sign up for the
Remind app at the beginning of the year. Then,
teachers can send out whole class or just specific
messages to parents to remind them of coming up
assignments, school functions, classroom needs, etc.
Teachers can create quizlets for their students for
vocabulary. The students can study the vocab using
online flashcards or the information can be turned into
various games through the quizlet app. Teachers can
have students create their own Quizlet as a study tool.
