Design Engineer

Our Client is a well-established, successful engineering company. They are now looking for a Design
Engineer to join their team. The facility is located 45 Km from Dublin.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- Design plans in coordination with clients needs and specifications;
- Perform design review process, product integrations, product and process value engineering;

- Manage various engineering projects in terms of specifications, planning, deployment and

close out;

- Supply chain & production system design;

- Effectively communicate internally with various departments and develop good working
relationships with customers;

- Conduct detailed models and 3D drawings.

Key Attributes

- Relevant third level qualification/Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering

- Minimum 3+ years experience in a similar role

- Solidworks experience desirable or similar 3D package

- AutoCAD an advantage
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and strong interpersonal skills
- Work under your own initiative whilst also working as part of a team is essential to this role
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Must be flexible
- Excellent attention to detail and administration skills
