Lunch Procedures
1. Every month you will receive a menu from Aramark with the lunch selections.
2. Please review the monthly menu with your child. They have a choice of a hot lunch, a cold
lunch, or bringing their own lunch from home.
3. Every morning, teachers will take a count of lunch orders. They will ask students whether
they will be getting a hot lunch or a cold lunch.
4. Two ways to pay (1) Set up an account on School Bucks or (2) Send exact change in an
envelope. PLEASE MAKE SURE THE ENVELOPE HAS THE CHILDS NAME, GRADE, AND
TEACHERS NAME!!
5. By using School Bucks (www.schoolbucks.com), you can keep track of what your child is
eating, how much they are spending, etc.
a. You can restrict snacks and other food items. When students type in their Lunch
ID, a message will appear on their account. Contact Michael Fassbender at
mfassbende@livingston.org for more information.
6. Invitation Table There will be 1 invitation table that is a Nut & Seed table. Students that
bring lunch with any type of nuts (peanut butter, etc.) and seeds (poppy, humus, etc.) will
sit at the invitation table with a friend. Please note - Aramark does not serve food with
nuts and seeds.
7. If you have questions regarding the Aramark Lunch Program, please contact the lunch
supervisor (mfassbende@livingston.org).

IMPORTANT!
Please have your child practice using their six-digit ID number (found on Genesis). They can
practice on a keypad, calculator, cell phone, etc.
The school will be providing cards with ID numbers to help students remember their ID
numbers for the first months of school. It is expected that they will memorize their numbers by
late Fall.
