Dear Thymus,

Dont fret dear. You are an extremely important gland. Without you and the hormone thymosin
you secrete, we wouldnt have T cells. Your T cells serve a vital role in our immune systems by
attacking invading cells or assisting B cells in producing a specific antibody (McCance &
Huether). Darling, you play a significant part in our long-term health, so dont be so hard on
yourself!
