Lesson idea implementation:


Teacher will introduce BrainPOP ESL to students by explaining the software and helping them setup an
account. Students will complete activities, such as reading, writing, speaking and will be quizzed after
completing each activity. Teachers will grade activities and give feedback. BrainPOP ESL will be introduced to

the students as an instructional software that will improve their English language development. BrainPOP ESL
will take fourteen weeks to complete. Student learning will be assessed by quizzes.
The students will take a placement test when they first sign up for BrainPOP ESL and after they have
completed all activities. They will be able to compare their new placement with their previous one and see
their improvement. The teacher will extend the student learning to a higher learning level by having the
students create a movie on BrainPOP ESL and share it with the class, but first, they must present a summary
of their movie. The teacher will conclude the lesson by reviewing the quizzes with the students. The teacher
will provide feedback to the students via BrainPOP ESL after each activity and quiz. Also, the teacher will give
feedback in person by having the students turn in a checklist after completing an activity or quiz.
