NARATIVE REPORT IN CAPRICORN TRAVEL

On the first day we assigned to our establishment CAPRICORN INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL its a bit
dramatic in the first day because we judge to quickly on the ambiance the instructor. Yet we decide to
stay and continue our OJT there. On the second day we tackled about what IATA do in airlines. GDS
used in the Philippines ABACUS, WORLD SPAN etc. In day 3 we are about to learn the Travel Agency
Cycle their fields in the Travel Agencies and Airlines. In the next day Maam Diane introduced and
taught us how to book a flight through International and Domestic.

Day off, since we wait for my parents for me to pick up in the Dorm and went to a mall and buy some
things for me and though its Mothers Day its been a long time since I celebrate Mothers Day. Its been a
good time for me we took our lunch at the mall and after that we venture for a short time and drive me
back to our Dorm. As I woke up on the next day I prepare myself for duty. We learned how to make a
quotation request in land arrangement its kind of stunning because you can create a tour package in a
easy way. For the next day we learned how to make a quotation request in a full package in Hong Kong
and we waited for a long time we sent 15 requests for the domestic and 15 for International we wait about
2-3 days before they replied. This time I realized that it is not the easy to make a quotation because some
of the agencies denied and ignored our request. We didnt give up it is our job to do whatever it takes
because maam Jayde taught to us do not limit yourself on what you can do always move forward and
do not stop. Day 10, on this day less drill because we just wait for the quotation request that we sent to the
agencies in domestic. So while we are waiting. We do the booking for Airlines just a brief time after that
we went to NAIA Terminal 3 for Airport Familiarization with maam Jayde she do the tour guiding in
some places that we pass by. But maam Jayde told us that only in departure area that we can explore.
But! Luckily my Mother works there at NAIA as a Air force( Police Pangkalawakan) she accompanied us
and tour us at the ticketing office of PAL,5J,ANA ,etc. she talk to the securities in that particular area for
us to see what is happening and how passengers do the ticketing. So Im very thankful to My Mom
without her we cannot visit the whole building and we also take a picture to the Captain and Flight
attendant. The next day daily routine we didnt do so much us we do the booking and quotation request

On day 13 I prepare myself because we went to a seminar about Customer Service at Meridian we have
learned so much about Customer service to Maam Mela Our instructor/speaker in our seminar. I have
learned so many things about it on how you treat and value your customer. The way you serve them and
the way you develop a rapport to them. We do so much activities like 7up it is a game where you can
develop your senses on how the way you can follow instructions and on how you can adapt a certain
things around you. We also make a poster about Customer Service we drew a lot of things about it and
explain what the meaning is. We do a lot of things and exciting activities. We also do the message rely
regarding to our topic the telephone call. Most of all we thank Maam Mela for presenting the real world
of Business Maam Mela said be yourself value and gain loyalty to your customers and employee.

In the total of my learning I learned a lot of things preparing myself in a real world do all heavy jobs
sacrificing most of my time just to finish my duty. Gaining more knowledge for the future.

NARATIVE REPORT IN M/V ST.THERE OF THE CHILD JESUS

We prepare ourselves for the next learning the Shipboard training at M/V St. Therese of the Child Jesus at
2GoTravel we left the Dorm at estimated time of 5:30. As we arrived at the ship the STO of the ship
orient as for a brief moment for the rules and regulations in ship and that time our STO also assigned us to
our departments. At exactly 6:00 we start our duty at the Food and Beverage Department we first serve
our classmate and customers as well during our duty it seems its not easy as we thing about it expectation
vs. Reality you should really do all the move from one place to another stand up for the whole duration
serve the customer do the dishes, bass out, arrange the table, exhausting yet exciting so we finish our task
at 10 am.

Next day heavy duty we sell some items in quik Mart we start at 10 in the morning we collect some items
that we can sell. We sell all the deck of the ship pleasing all the passenger to but our items just for us to
gain a high profit. We finish our task at 2:00 took our lunch and duty again at the Housekeeping
Department do the beddings and towel folding. In the Front office Department its hard to stand for
4hrs.waiting for some customers to check in and as we arrive at CDO we assist the passengers especially
the minor ones.

I have learned so much in the ship making a lot new friends, valuing customers always smile to them
make them feel comfort. My experience at the ship its just like Im already at the real job doing all the
staff serving customers. BUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IVE LEARND, IS THAT THERES
ALWAYS MORE TO LEARN.
