PAMUKKALE aka

Cotton Castle
Just the name itself makes you think of something
different, something unique.

Well, Pamukkale meaning ‘cotton castle’ in Turkish, is

a natural site in Denizli Province in South western
Turkey. There, it experiences a temperate climate for
most of the year.

The city contains hot springs and travertine, terraces of

carbonate minerals left by the flowing water.
People have bathed in its pools for thousands of years
And entering the waters with your shoes on is
prohibited.

A beauty to see. You must not miss it!

CAPPADOCIA

Cappadocia is an area in Central Anatolia in Turkey

best known for its unique moon-like landscape,
underground cities, cave churches and houses carved
in the rocks.

Its appearance was said to be due to eroding rains and

winds of thousands of years of the level, lava-covered
plain located between the volcanic mountains Erciyes,
Melendiz and Hasan as well as its troglodyte dwellings
carved out of the rock and cities dug out into
underground.

And thus having an otherwordly appearance. It is

definitely unique and seems like a land from the story
Shrek in my opinion. A definitely magical yet odd place
to visit!
