Assessment:

Layout instructions:
The assessment should consist of 3 pages: a cover page followed by the actual letter and then the
reference page. The cover page should include the following information:
Name and Surname
Student number and due date
Name of the fictional newspaper to which you are submitting the letter
The title/heading of your letter, i.e. Letter to the Editor:
PLEASE NOTE: Completed assignments MUST BE SUBMITTED ON MOODLE AND VIA TURNITIN
(which can be found at www.turnitin.com) before 5pm on the due date. Students will be
registered on Turnitin by their lecturer and receive an e-mail with login details. REMEMBER that
the turnaround time for resubmission of essays on turnitin is 24 hours so manage your time
properly when you are preparing your work so that you do not miss the deadline. ALSO
ensure that you keep an electronic copy of your letter somewhere safe e.g. in a cloud like
google drive (see Moodle for other examples).

If the similarity index (SI) is above 25%, 0% will be given immediately. If the SI is under 25%, then
