Subject:- POT cum PTEE bearings for proposed steel truss bridge at Udhampur Ram Nagar
road in Km 3rd RD( 0-300) along with approached (both sides).

Sir,

Kindly refer to the subject as cited above wherein the above mentioned project has
been received in this office for checking. However during the checking following observations were
made and are brought into your kind notice.

1. The considerations Parameters:-

Rotation = 0.01
Rotation considered =0.013
Requires reference of the source along with codes requirements & proper reasoning.
2. The interaction of the bearing viz-a- viz the pedestal is not clear.
3. Most of the basic parameters / values are taken directly as such require proper reasoning and
codal reference.

Hence in view of the above observations, you are requested to addressed the above
mentioned observations and clarify them at an earliest so as to facilitate the speedy disposal of the
project at our end. Also if possible, the concerned designers mobile no. may be arranged for on
spot discussion/ clarification regarding any query and discussion.
