The four functions of the computer are Input, Output,

Memory, and Processing

Input-the computer collects information or instructions from the user - transferring of information into a
computer system

Storage- the computer saves information in its memory - information in permanently saved until you
want to delete it

Processing- the computer interprets and processes the data you input - control of information within the
computer system

Output- the computer displays or produces processed information
