Pilatus PC-12 Series Airplane Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL) - Document Number 02395 -
Initial Issue or latest revision.
Refer to the MMEL Preamble for definitions and instructions on the use and application of the
procedures contained herein.

ATA 21 AIR CONDITIONING

21-10-01A (ALL) Air cycle system

1. Placard

A. Put an AIR CYCLE SYSTEM INOPERATIVE placard in a position on the instrument panel where it is
visible to the flight crew.

2. Maintenance (M)

None required.

3. Operations (O)

MSN 101 888:

A. Before the flight, prepare the airplane to operate in unpressurized configuration:


1. Set ECS switch to OFF.
2. Pull the ECS emergency shut off lever.
B. Perform the flight at an altitude not exceeding 10,000 ft. AMSL.
Note: If required, the flight crew should adjust the flight duration depending on the operating
conditions (e.g. temperature, number of aircraft occupants, etc.) to ensure that the available
fresh air inflow provides a suitable and comfortable environment for the occupants.

MSN 1001 and up:

A. Before the flight, prepare the airplane to operate in unpressurized configuration:


1. Set ACS switch to the INHIBIT position.
2. Pull the ACS emergency shut off lever.
B. Perform the flight at an altitude not exceeding 10,000 ft. AMSL.
Note: If required, the flight crew should adjust the flight duration depending on the operating
conditions (e.g. temperature, number of aircraft occupants, etc.) to ensure that the available
fresh air inflow provides a suitable and comfortable environment for the occupants.

21-30-01A (CAT) (MSN 101 888) Cabin pressurisation system

1. Placard

A. Put a PRESSURISATION SYSTEM INOPERATIVE placard in a position near the Pressurisation controls
where it is visible to the flight crew.

A. Remove the Safety valve (Aircraft Maintenance Manual 21-30-02-00A-920A-A).

2. Open the access door 11 BR and visually confirm that the outflow valve is fully open. The
butterfly valve must be in the horizontal position.
3. Pull the following CBs:

Circuit Breaker BUS

CPCS CH. 1 EPS BUS

CPCS CH. 2 MAIN BUS

B. Perform the flight at an altitude not exceeding 10,000 ft. AMSL.

ATA 22 - AUTOPILOT

22-10-01A (SPO/NCO) Autopilot

1. Placard

MSN 101 888:

A. Put an AUTOPILOT INOPERATIVE placard in a position near the Autopilot mode controller where it is
visible to the flight crew.

MSN 1001 an up:

A. Put an AUTOPILOT INOPERATIVE placard in a position near the AFCS control panel where it is visible
to the flight crew.

2. Maintenance (M)

None required.

3. Operations (O)

MSN 101 888:

A. Before flight, pull the "A/P" circuit breaker (AVIONIC 2 BUS).


B. Consider the increase in workload due to the unavailability of the AP and the prevailing conditions
(e.g. crew skill level, IMC/VMC, Day/Night, duration of flight, complexity of the intended approach
procedure, etc.). If the increase in workload may become excessively high then Pilatus recommends
implementing suitable mitigations (e.g. safety pilot, change in flight plan, postponement of the
flight, etc.).
Note: RVSM operations not permitted.

MSN 1001 and up:

A. Before flight, pull the "A/P SERVO" circuit breaker (AVIONIC 1 BUS).
B. Consider the increase in workload due to the unavailability of the AP and the prevailing conditions
(e.g. crew skill level, IMC/VMC, Day/Night, duration of flight, complexity of the intended approach
procedure, etc.). If the increase in workload may become excessively high then Pilatus recommends
implementing suitable mitigations (e.g. safety pilot, change in flight plan, postponement of the
flight, etc.).
Note: RVSM operations not permitted.

ATA 22 - AUTOPILOT

22-10-01B (CAT) Autopilot

1. Placard

A. Put an AUTOPILOT QUICK DISCONNECT INOPERATIVE placard in a position on the instrument panel
where it is visible to the flight crew.

2. Maintenance (M)

None required.

3. Operations (O)

A. Before flight, confirm that the A/P disconnect switch is operative on the pilot flying side:
1. Engage the autopilot.
2. Press the A/P disconnect switch on the pilot flying side.
3. Confirm that the autopilot disengages.

23-30-01B (ALL) Public address system

1. Placard

A. Put a PA SYSTEM INOPERATIVE placard in a position near the Audio panel where it is visible to the
flight crew.

2. Maintenance (M)

None required.

3. Operations (O)

A. Brief the cabin crew members (if carried) and the passengers on the communication procedures that
will be used.
B. Use direct communication (verbal and with hand signs) between flight deck and cabin.

ATA 25 EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS

25-11-01-1A (ALL) Flight crew compartment seats Horizontal adjustment

1. Placard

A. Put a SEAT HORIZONTAL ADJUSTMENT INOPERATIVE placard in a position on the instrument panel
where it is visible to the flight crew.

2. Maintenance (M)

Refer to the applicable seat Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) for support in the following
procedures:
A. Determine the reason for the inoperativeness of the horizontal seat adjustment.
B. Move/adjust the seat position to the satisfaction of the pilot.
C. Consider the reason for the inoperativeness and use appropriate aircraft maintenance practice to

35-20-01A (ALL) Passenger Oxygen System

A. Make sure that the Air conditioning system is operative. Make sure that there is flow from air
outlets.
B. Set the Oxygen control valve to the OFF position.
C. Brief the passengers that the Oxygen masks depicted on the Safety briefing cards are inoperative,
but that they will not be required due to the selected flight altitude.
D. Consider in the flight planning that no oxygen is available to the passengers. Consider options (e.g.
possibility to descend to a lower altitude) should a passenger develop a condition where use of
supplemental oxygen may be advised.
E. Perform the flight at an altitude not exceeding 10,000 ft. AMSL.
