HYFRAN is a software allows to fit statistical laws to a independent

and identically distributed data sample.
This software was developed by Chair's statistical hydrology team,
located at L'Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique
(INRS-ETE).

You are in possession of a demo release. All the statistical tools belonging
to HYFRAN software are available in the demo release. You can only make analysis
on maximal annual flows of the Haricana's river, and you cannot import
data by clipboard.

Trouble with older version of Windows 95:

it can arrive with an older version of windows 95 that you cannot
access to graphic's window (crash of the software when you click
on graphic window). The cause is the version of the file
"COMCTL32.DLL" that is too old on your system. Install a new version
of this file. You must boot with a system diskette and copy the new
"DLL" in the system directory of Windows 95. After, you must start
again "Windows 95" and you can use HYFRAN.

Troubles with graphics printing:

in "Windows 95" with certains printers we have problems with printing.
* HP III Laserjet : legends don't print in vertical position.
* HP Deskjet 722 C : nothing printing is done, we have a system
error message. If you have this type of problem, you can print
your graphic in full page : option "Printing in full page" of the
menu "Graphic"; after choose option "Print" of the menu "File".
(By default your graphic will be printed in "landscape" format).
 other solutions :
* Try an other print driver. By exemple for the HP III Laserjet,
we have used the HP driver Laserjet, and that was fine.
* Use the clipboard and export your graphic in others applications.
