This is in reference to your letter to Dr. KENNETH RONQUILLO, Director of the Human Health
Resource Development Bureau, Department of Health, Manila dated 13 June 2016, inquiring about the
existence training course or of a DOH program for aged and dementia care. We have no existing
program or training course nor do we have any plans to establish this. We encourage you to develop the
said program on aged and dementia care to and recommend that you register with the Technical and
Educational Skills Development Authority (TESDA) for standardization and monitoring of your training
program.

We appreciate your private initiative to do your part in preparing our country for the care of the
mental health of our future aging population.
