How should I care for my leather products?

Vegetable Tanned Leather

Natural vegetable tanned leather is an amazing full grain leather that takes on a rich patina over
time. Environmental factors such as use, sunlight or oils can change the character of this leather
dramatically. This leather becomes as unique as the person who uses it.

While its perfectly fine to use these handmade products right away, Popov Leather recommends
treating natural vegetable leather with a conditioner to prevent staining or unwanted markings.

Suggested initial treatment:

One coat of Saddle Soap

Wait 4-5 hours or until dry and add another coat of Saddle Soap.
Let dry overnight

Horween Chromexcel & Bridle Leather

Our Horween and Bridle leathers do not require initial treatment. All our leathers should be
conditioned every 6-12 months with a Saddle Soap or Neatsfoot Oil.

Do you do Custom Orders?

At this time we are only offering personalization (initials, names, dates) on our products. We are
not accepting commissions for new designs. Sorry!
Where do you source your leather?
Our leather is sourced from the Horween Leather Company and Wickett & Craig.

Anything else?
We try to keep things simple since we'd rather be making stuff. If you have any questions, just
contact us!

Godbole Gear

WARRANTY Information
All Godbol Gear products come with a warranty against defects in materials and
workmanship, for a period of three years from the date of purchase subject to responsible use.

During this warranty period, a defective product will be repaired or replaced free of cost.
Shipping costs will be borne by the seller. Beyond the three year period, any servicing or repairs
will be chargeable based on the repair work required. Return shipping costs will be borne by the
buyer.

What is considered a defect: While extremely unlikely, broken stitches, broken buckles, broken
rivets, leather ripping apart along stitches or joints are considered defects

What is NOT considered a defect: Natural variation in the structure of the leather (density is
different at different points in the hide), marks on leather inherent to full grain leather (these
occur due to scars acquired over the life of an animal), natural color variation from product to
product due to vegetable-tanned leather and natural dyes these are hallmarks of authentic full
grain leather and NOT defects. Similarly, the leather surface can develop cracks over the years, if
not conditioned periodically. This is also not considered a defect.

What does responsible use mean?

Use your leather product as intended. For e.g. If you own a wallet designed to hold four
cards, and you decide you really must start carrying more cards, please choose from one
of our other designs. Exceeding a products specification can greatly reduce its life.
Dont expose it to heat. Leather dries up and can crack if left in high heat environments
for extended periods of time. E.g. in a hot car.
Dont try to test if its waterproof. Its not. While the exterior of the leather has some
resistance to water, if leather stays in water, it can shrink and may lose shape.
Use common sense! Dont throw it in the sea, dump it in a vat of chlorine or give it to
your dog as a chew toy; the list could go on
Show the leather some love! Every 6 months or whenever the leather begins to look dirty
or dry:
o Wipe the leather down with a soft, clean and damp cloth to get rid of dust and
dirt.
o DO NOT clean with household cleaners like bleach/Clorox/Colin etc.!
o Dab a little bit of olive oil on a clean soft cloth and lightly apply it on the surface
of the leather in a circular motion. Remember a little goes a long way

Read the complete CARE INSTRUCTIONS to keep your leather product in top shape.

Warranty does not cover any type of damage caused by neglect or misuse (e.g. cracking leather
due to exposure to high heat environments, shrunken leather due to exposure to water, abrasion
due to harsh cleaning agents etc.), accidental damages (e.g. a truck running over it) or purely
cosmetic damage (such as scratched leather).

Godbol Gear reserves the right to change the above mentioned terms & conditions of warranty
without prior notice. The warranty terms applicable to your purchase will be those in force as of
your order date. They will also be mentioned on your product information guide.

condition by following our care instructions; or you could send it to us for expert conditioning,

Hope you find this guide useful Zelikovitz Leathers ....... Jamie Melamed
It was the whole new sound!!! Four people in an extraordinary situation. The Beatles!! Four lads
who shook the world. They changed the face of pop culture and conquered the planet

Waking of the sleeping giant Four lads started out in Leather Jackets tuning around with
guitars and when asked about the phenomenal success, they said we dont know what happened.

According to Gould, the Beatles changed the way people listened to popular music and
experienced its role in their lives. From what began as the Beatlemania fad, the group's
popularity grew into what was seen as an embodiment of sociocultural movements of the
decade. As icons of the 1960s counterculture, they became a catalyst for bohemianism and
activism in various social and political arenas, fuelling movements such as women's liberation,
gay liberation and environmentalism.

On the heels of that success, the Beatles made their first trip to the US, appearing on the Ed
Sullivan Show for the first time on February 9,1964. The broadcast garnered the largest
television audience in the US for any program at the time and it launched the craze known as
Beatlemania.

Theres a story that goes in New York when they were on TV, not a single crime was reported.
That means maybe the criminals All of this reaction was happening before social media was
invented. This was the start of the craziness known as beatlemania. They soon became the first
band to ever play at stadiums. But the unique thing is, at their concert was that the screaming was
so loud and the sound system so bad, that no one could actually hear anything they were playing.

Having already conquered the pop charts and television, the Beatles set their sights on film,
releasing A Hard Day's Night on August 11, 1964. All of these events set in motion a revolution
of popular music, ushering in the British invasion that would bring bands like the Rolling Stones,
the Animals and eventually The Who to American audiences and sending the popularity of rock
music to greater heights than had ever been imagined before the Beatles emergence.

As both agents and models of change, the Beatles played a key role in establishing three main
attributes of the embryonic counterculture: the maturing sensibility of rock music, greater
personal freedom as expressed by physical appearance, and experimentation with drugs.
United by the goal of redefining social norms, activists, protestors, hippies, and proponents of
the growing counterculture found in the Beatles an ideal representation of the sentiments of the
times. Embodying the very principle of change itself, the Beatles became a major symbol of
cultural transformation and the veritable leaders of the 1960s youth movement.

An important factor in the Beatles success was the unique era in which the band emerged, a
time when musicians could become forces for social change with power over millions. With the
post-war baby boom, the percentage of young people in the population was unprecedentedly
high. The fifties rock n roll subculture rose to a new level and music became a liberating force
for the millions of teenagers who would become the activists, protestors, hippies, and
proponents of the growing counterculture of the late 1960s. A product of many influences
including the beat movement, the antiauthoritarianism of Henry David Thoreau, and the
American tradition of radical utopianism, the counterculture is best defined as a fluid set of
assumptions and beliefs united by the inherent goal of redefining the norms of society (Stark,
195). Most of all, the counterculture was the creation of the young, challenging older
generations and unleashing conflicts regarding affirmative action, religion, abortion,
homosexuality, and the meaning of work and success, all through the media of music, drugs,
and politics.

Count Basie- Freedie Green

Swing is the basic rhythemic jazz attitude of jazz music. When whole band is swinging it means
everyone is listening and working together. Freedie played his guitar on quarter note most of the
time and that is also known as chunk chunk style. It makes the band sound so fat and swinging.
