Exercise 1: Overlay User Modeling

Ikea plans to offer online training courses for their employees. They
want to train their in-house sales staff, telephone operators, and
assemblers.

1. Create a domain model that describes the Ikea domain


knowledge: To this end, define concepts and prerequisits of
the Ikea learning space.
2. Select two of the employee positions and specify a
corresponding overlay model.
3. Which weighting schemes can be used to specify the degree of
knowledge? Which one is the most appropriate?
