General Rules and Guidelines of the Contest

1. Participants can choose any song either English or Filipino.

2. The contestants maybe both males, both females, and male and female.
3. Delivery is from 3 to 6 minutes.
4. Contestants must provide their accompaniment in an MP3 file. No
cellphone or tablet shall be allowed.
5. All contestants must attend the general meeting on June 16, 2017, 2:00
PM at Diwan Elementary School. Submission of accompaniment will be on
the same date.
6. The decision of the members of the board of judges is final and
irrevocable.
7. Prizes for the competition shall be as follows:
First Prize - 600.00
Second Prize - 400.00
Third Prize - 350.00
Consolation - 150.00
8. Each competing group shall represent a sitio in Barangay Diwan. First
come, first serve basis will be observed.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGING

Voice Quality
(tonality, tonal blend and technique) - 50%

Style and Performance

(rendition qualities, discipline, timing and precision,
choreography, diction, delivery and interpretation,
appropriateness of staging of song selected,
and teamwork) - 30%

Over-all Appeal
(Stage appeal, audience impact, and costume) - 20%

TOTAL - 100%
