MEMORANDUM
In compliance with LMB Travel Order No. 2012-215 dated July 12, 2012 RE: Conduct of
Monitoring and Validation activity of PRS92 Project in all Regional Offices, we are transmitting our
narrative report for DENR-LMS Region VII, Cebu City covering the period September 18 to 21, 2012.
1. Narrative Report;
2. Status Report of Accomplishment on Densified Established Control Points;
3. Status Report of Accomplishment on Recovered Control Points;
4. Status Report on the Cadastral Survey Project PRS compliance;
5. Assessment Report on PRS92 Project;
6. Pictures Office and actual field validation.
Please be informed that all copies of our findings were discussed with the concerned RTD for
Lands and technical officers/staff.

NARRATIVE REPORT
CADASTRAL SURVEY PROJECT
Pursuant to LMB Special Order No. 2012-122 dated June 22, 2012 and in compliance with
Lands Management Bureau Travel Order No. 2012-270 dated August 15, 2012, the conduct of
Monitoring and Validation activity of Cadastral Survey Project, the following are herewith submitted
to wit:
The conduct of monitoring activity on the Cadastral Survey Project was coordinated with the
concerned regional offices through an official communication (Fax Machine/Long distance call). Prior
to actual monitoring, the Regional Chief, Surveys Division was also contacted to relate the purpose of
the validation.
I. Pre-Conference
A pre/exit-conference was conducted headed by RTD for Lands Diana R. Apistar and was
attended by Engr. Alfredo A. Icoy, Chief, Regional Surveys Division, Ms. Lionisita A. Semblante,
Chief, Planning and PRS92 Coordinator, Engr. James Fuentes, Engr. Reggie Vios-Martinez, Team
Leader/PRS92 Cebu and the undersigned member of the Monitoring Team.
Note:
On going activity for CY-2012.
Limited GPS Units and some are defective. Some GPS observedThere are Cadastral Projects
under PRS92 compliance for office verification that is still pe raw data submitted to NAMRIA for
validation, no result/not returned to the region. Incomplete GPS observed raw data from Cadastral
Survey Project submitted by contractors for validation and lack of vehicles (transportation) for field
operation.
NOTE:
On September 20, 2012 there are about 6 Units of GPS Instrument (Trimble), 3 Units of
GPS Data Processing Software (TBC) and other IT Equiptments (10 Laptops, etc.) were delivered to
DENR LMS Region VII.
V. Recommendation
Monitoring and updating of the Cadastral Survey Project should be given attention in order to
ensure the implementation of the said Project.
