QUOTE

`You employ stone, wood and concrete, and with these materials you build houses and
palaces. That is construction. Ingenuity is at work. But suddenly you touch my heart,
you do me good, I am happy and I say: `This is beautiful. That is architecture. Art enters
in.
Le Corbusier Towards an architecture (1923)
I chose this quote because I find interesting how Le Corbusier defines Architecture. He
describes Architecture not like the building itself, but like a building capable of produce
feelings, the next step of the materialization of a project. He separates somehow
technique and what he considers as art.

BOOK
The Fountainhead- Ayn Rand (1943)
Have a different point of view of the social standard and try to conserve it, being able
to attend to the consequences, is always difficult. For this, I would like to inquire in the
mind of the protagonist of the book and try to find the reasons that make him uphold
his vision of architecture. I think that it is important to learn about those who, because
of their breaker thoughts, change the course of Architecture.
