EXCERPTS OF THE MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE HPTA OF SOLSONA NATIONAL

HIGH SCHOOL (GRADE 8C) ON AUGUST 27, 2016.

I. CALL TO ORDER
The meeting is called to order at 8:00 oclock in the morning.
II. PRAYER
Adviser of Grade 8C led the prayer.
III. ROLL CALL
Class Secretary checked the attendance.
PRESENT:

IV. AGENDA
1. Election of PTA Officers
Mrs. Nimfa V. Cadaoas was elected as the president. In her short message, she promised to
perform her responsibilities and support the programs of the school.

2. Grading System
The grading system is presented by the adviser in order for parents to be aware on how their
children will be graded in the different areas particularly in FILIPINO.

3. Students Performance
The adviser presented the performance of Grade 8C for the First Quarter.
4. Students Behavior
The adviser discussed the behavior of the students during classes. She mentioned some points to
consider in giving grades in line with their behavior.

5. Assessment
Form 138 (Students Card) were distributed to the parents in order for them to see the
achievement of their children. Certificates were given to students who showed exemplary performance
during the quarter.
6. Class Project
The president presented the class project to the parent which is tiling the floor. Parents need to
pay P465 each for the said project. Parents agreed that the deadline will be on December 15, 2016.

V. OTHER MATTERS
Parents with children who failed in Math, English and Science talked with the adviser. The
adviser accompanied them to the teacher concerned.

Meeting was adjourned at 10:00 am.

The adviser presented the performance of Grade 8C for the Third Quarter.
2. Students Behavior
The adviser discussed the behavior of the students during classes. She mentioned about the
problem on absenteeism.

3. Assessment
Form 138 (Students Card) were distributed to the parents in order for them to see the
achievement of their children. Awards were also given to students who showed exemplary performance
during the quarter.

V. OTHER MATTERS

Parents with children who failed/got low grades talked with the adviser. The adviser explained
how their children can cope up.

The meeting is called to order at 8:20 in the morning.

Attendance is checked through roll call per section by Mrs. Rogelia J. Bello.

III. AGENDA

1. ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE SCHOOL

The school heads presented the accomplishments of the school in the different areas.
2. HEALTH AND SANITATION
The school nurse discussed the important issues and concerns with regards to health.

3. PTA PRESIDENT

PTA President, Mr. Benigno L. Aquino, presented the different programs and projects of the
school and the finished projects of PTA for school year 2015-2016. He also discussed the
responsibilities of parents in the development of the students.
