name has become a prominent term primarily in the field of directing and screenwriting. But he also had

Spanking the Monkey. This film is an indie film having a dark comedy.

This is his contemporary project which is a fictional comedy about a con man named Irving Rosenfeld.
Again, this has earned him the best acclaim by having received 7 Golden Nominations.
