Make the Wireless Router as an AP as shown in the previous lecture
Create a regular expression syntax to be used to block Facebook traffic
Apply the Layer7 protocol having the regular expression in the Firewall rule for
all forwarding traffic through the router, and block all Facebook traffic.
Adjust the Layer7 regular expression and add to it Youtube so all traffics for
Youtube will be denied too.
Test and check whether Facebook & Youtube traffics are being filtered and
denies while all other traffic are able to pass normally via the MikroTik router to
the internet.

Download Netinstall software to be used for re-flashing the MikroTik router


when losing or forgetting the admin password
Identify what is the architecture model of the MikroTik router and install the
RouterOS which correspond to it from MikroTik website.
Understand how to configure Netinstall so the MikroTik router can receive an IP
address on it after rebooting it.
Install the new RouterOS on the MikroTik router using Netinstall.
Check if the MikroTik router has been re-flashed and connect to it via Winbox.

Reset the MikroTik's password in case it is lost
