content?

5) Students personal (please no parent input) numerical reflections on their performance during
this week in biology/environmental science class. Please take into account the following six
criteria which will cumulatively add up to a possible 60 points. Please be honest with yourself
this should be a lifelong endeavor!

1. Celebrate your failures (big and small)! What have you failed at these past two weeks? Your
score is based on your reflection of failure (how, when, and why): _10__/10.
- Specific reasoning (with evidence):
How have you (or havent you) failed these past two week?
The biggest fail I have had these past two weeks was last weekend on Saturday the 7th at
my wrestling tournament, when I was totally dominating in the match and I rolled out
into what I thought was a pin, but instead I had my own shoulders on the mat. Resulting
in the fat L.
Why is this failure an important step for you?
This was an important step for me, because not only was it a memorable learning
experience but a mental challenge too. Being able to step on the mat again in the next
match made me mentally stronger.

2. ROADS Project work time (A. ROADS Backwards Planning document, B. Milestones unique
to YOU): _10__/10.
- Specific reasoning (with evidence):

completing each section.

B. My role within my ROADS Project is _________ and my milestones are unique to me

because...
My role within my ROADS project is camera crew, collecting data on what happens to a
carcass after it has been killed. My milestones are unique to me because I believe that
recording our process is just as useful as actually doing it.

Absent or Tardy. If so, what day(s), why, and how did you make up for this?), B. Cell phone
habits (is your cell phone on in class, do you text or answer calls), and C. Headphone habits (do

4. Assignments (A. Chapter 13.1-13.3 Ecology reading and Visual Vocabulary (all 13
highlighted vocabulary words included), AND B. Roadkill and Drug Discovery article and
Journal Entry): _10__/10.
- Specific reasoning (with evidence):
A. I read and completed the 3 chapters of Ecology. A specific example was; keystone
species, which is a species on which other species in an ecosystem largely depend, such
that if it were removed the ecosystem would change drastically. An example is the
beaver.

B. I read and completed the journal entry for Roadkill and Drug Discovery. The article
