Shared Printers

The department has a contract with UK Managed Print Services which maintains two black/white
printers (Ricoh Aficio MP 6001) and one color printer (Lexmark C746dn). The department is
charged for the toner and paper used in these printers. Please be considerate of printing. Logs
can be reviewed. When logging into a Windows PC using linkblue, these printers should connect
automatically. For any other computer, the provided DNS can be used to add the printer to your
device list.

*Be mindful when printing in color. The department is charged for toner on all printers.

Due to the variance in computer hardware, operating systems, connections, etc., Department
Managers are not the primary source for assistance with connecting to a printer. For information on
adding a printer to a computer, printing locked jobs, and more visit the Hives online tutorials. If
unable to find answer to technical inquiries within the tutorial pages, submit a ticket to the Hive.
Please note, Department Managers will not print a file from a USB drive.
