DICTIONARY OF TERMS

Summary:
! This book had me enticed to reading it from chapter one. It is an
amazing novel of a boy soldier in Sierra Leone. Ishmael Beah is living in
his town when civil war brakes out. He has to run and leave behind his
friends and family. He travels alone for most of the way and is
confronted by danger throughout his
long and painful journey out of his
home country. He soon learns that his
entire family has been killed by the
Rebels and is taken in by the U.N.
who struggle to help him regain his old
self and the child within him that he left
behind in his war torn country. This
book has a high paced action/horror
feel all the way through to the very last
page. It is a beautifully written novel
that I would highly recommend.
