Statement from Senate Democratic Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins
We all join in mourning Officer Miosotis who served and protected New Yorkers for 12 years.
Our police officers risk their lives each day for our well-being. My deepest condolences and
prayers are with the family of Officer Miosotis and her brothers and sisters in the NYPD.
