STEWARDSHIP MOMENT
One of the most well known and beloved pas-
sages in scripture is the gentle invitation of our
Lord in todays Gospel reading: Come to me,
all you who labor and are burdened, and I will
give you rest. When we need physical rest,
we sleep or take a nap. When we need emo-
tional rest, we sometimes take a vacation. But
how do we find spiritual rest? How do we dis-
cover Christs peace as we grapple with the
complex issues of life deep in our hearts?
Good stewards find their rest in the Lord. Re-
flect this week on what you do to welcome
the peace of Christ into your heart.

The Tomorrow Project is a work-readiness training
program of Catholic Charities in San Diego, CA that
specifically targets the unique issues of homeless
women.
This is done through the process of assembling
gourmet food products that are sold at retail and
community sales events locations.
We buy beans, clean beans, measure and
package spices to a recipes specifications,
assemble the ingredients in a pouch, label the
pouch, and then attach the recipe to the final
product. Each label is personally signed by a woman
in the Project. The packages are attractive, the
quality is top-notch, and the products are delicious.
