REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2017-056

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE IV, SECTION 2, PARAGRAPH

WHEREAS, last November 8, 2016, the Sangguniang Panlungsod of lloilo City

passed Regulation Ordinance No. 2016-291 entitled "An ordinance amending Article IV,
Section 2, Paragraph two (2) of Regulation Ordinance No. 2013-344, "The 2013
Perimeter Boundary Ordinance of the City of lloilo";

WHEREAS, the perimeter boundary of San Miguel PUJs was extended until Jaro
Plaza in Regulation Ordinance No. 2016-291;

WHEREAS, the purpose of the proposed amendment in Regulation Ordinance

No. 2016-291 to be consistent with the LEFT TURN PROHIBITION ORDINANCE IN EL
98 TO MARKET ROAD. JARO. ILOILO CITY. as per Regulation Ordinance No. 2009-
153.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City

of lloilo, in session assembled, that:

Section 1. - Article IV, Section 2, Paragraph two (2) of Regulation Ordinance No.
2016-291, be amended to read as follows:

"SAN MIGUEL - upon entering the South Central Perimeter

Boundary Area of lloilo Citv thev shall pass Guzman Street until
Plaza Mandurriao. proceed to R. Mapa Street. tum left to Airport
road. proceed to Airoort Spur road. turn right to West Diversion. tum
left to El 98 Street. tum right to E. Lopez Street. turn right to M.
Jalandoni Street. tum right to Burgos Street. turn left to Castilla
Street. tum left to Market Road. tum left to Claudio Street. tum left to
Burgos Street. tum left to El 98 Street. right to West Diversion. turn
left to Airport Spur Road. tum right to Q. Abeta. proceed to Guzman
Street towards the Municipality of San Miquel."

Section 2. - This ordinance repeals, modifies or amends any existing ordinance

inconsistent herewith otherwise the same shall remain in full force and effect;

Section 3. - A copy of the sketch of the traffic flow of San Miguel PUJs in Jaro,
lloilo City as per Regulation Ordinance No. 2009-153 and Regulation Ordinance No.
2016-291 is herein attached as an integral part of this ordinance;

Section 4. - Let a copy of this ordinance be furnished to the Transportation

Management and Traffic Regulation Office (TMTRO) and the president of SAMODA
(San Miguel PUJs), for information and guidance;

Section 5. - This ordinance shall take effect immediately after its publication in a
newspaper of general circulation in the City of lloilo.
