ANSWER ALL THE QUESTIONS 6*1M =6M

1) a. Bisect a given line having a length of 70mm.

b. Construct a Square which is having a length of 60mm.
c. Construct an Octagon which is having a length of 50mm by Arc method
d. A regular Pentagonal plate of 20mm side is fixed at its centre .An inelastic rope is
circumscribed along the perimeter of the pentagon. Draw the path of the free end of
rope when it is unwounded keeping tight for one complete turn.
e. A point D is 50mm below HP and 30 mm in front of VP, Draw its projections.
f. A point P is 20mm below HP and lies in Q3, Its shortest distance from xy is
40mm. Draw its projections.

2) Draw an Epicycloid of a circle of 50mm diameter which rolls outside another circle
of 160mm diameter for one revolution clockwise. Draw a tangent and normal at a
point 90mm from the centre of the directing circle. 7M

3) A point Q is 15mm above HP and 20mm in front of VP another point T is 25mm

behind VP 40mm below HP. Draw projections of Q&T keeping the distance between the
projectors equal to 80mm. Draw straight lines joining their top views and their front
views. 7M

4) a) Construct an Ellipse when the distance of the focus from the Directrix is equal to
60mm and eccentricity is 2/3 4M
b) A point P is 50mm and 60mm from horizontal and vertical respectively. Draw
Hyperbola through it. 3M
