In 2008 Zia expanded his business operations to the UAE for the Middle East region

that resulted in excellent initial success and in early 2009 Catalyst was sought out, following
a global search, by the Chairman of Libya Africa Investment Portfolio (LAP) to transform and
manage LAP, with direct investments of $8 billion in a range of businesses including
Telecom, Construction, Oil & Gas and Airline.

Catalyst mandate, under Zia's leadership included expansion of the portfolio to $30 billion
over the 5 year contracted period, with base management fee of approx. $100 million.

Following the Libyan revolution, Zia has provided significant Nation Building advisory
services to the new Libyan regime including development of strategic business ventures and
transformation of key institutions working at the Ministerial level.

Currently, Zia has been retained by Netoil Inc. to lead its Investment strategy, business
ventures and multi-billion $ acquisitions in the MENA region . In this role, Zia is working
closely with the Netoil Chairman, Mir Roger Tamraz and reports directly to him.

many areas. The Honourable Tony Abbot, Prime Minister of
Australia maintained a highly respected relationship from the days of
the John Howard Government, where he had various Ministerial roles.

State Grid Corporation as the leader
of the joint Chinese and Australian
team of Industry experts, who
commended Zia for his capabilities
along with the Prime Minister of
Australia, Mr John Howard.
