    This survey summary provides the results of an online survey about rock climbing competitions. 155 respondents participated in the survey. The majority were between 17-25 years old. Most respondents believed SBL 2010 was better than NBL 2009 and that the current finals format for open categories is exciting. They also felt that having the chief route-setter, Mr. Tonde, makes a difference to competitions. Most hope to see more competitions in the league in 2011 and prefer categories based on climbing level rather than age groups. The top choice for future team categories was school/institution-based teams.
