Abstract of document:
RAN1 TR 38.901 is provided for 1-step approval.
Note: Based on TR 38.900 (including aspects below 6GHz, and also some aspects from TR 36.873)
this new TR is created under SI FS_NR_newRAT and a corresponding SID revision in RP-170379
has to be approved first in order to allocate a TR number.

Changes since last presentation to RAN Meeting #74:

In RAN#74 in December 2016, TR38.900 v14.2.0 was approved. During RAN1-NR#1 in January
2017, it was agreed that the applicability range of TR38.900 is extended to 0.5GHz to 100GHz. In
order to capture this agreement, it was necessary to change the title of the TR in the change control.
Following the MCC support teams suggestion, it is proposed to update SID FS_NR_newRAT to
include this channel modelling scope, and create a new TR number to capture all the contents of
TR38.900 v14.2.0 and agreements during RAN1-NR#1 and RAN1#88, including aspects related to
below 6GHz as well.
