BOARD RESOLUTION NO. 2017-01

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN, MR. DAVID S. AGOPITAC JR., TO SIGN
THE MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT (MOA) BETWEEN THE PCCMG AND LGU-
MARIHATAG REPRESENTED BY MAYOR RAUL T. CUBIL.

WHEREAS, the Philippine Civic Crime Monitoring Group (PCCMG) - Marihatag Chapter has been
formally organized with the election of its officers and the conduct of first training in Marihatag,
Surigao del Sur;

WHEREAS, as a private organization recognized by the national government thru the Department of
Defense, it is willing to be a partner of local government units (LGUs) in assisting local boards
and councils and law enforcement agencies such as PNP, DND and PDEA in enforcing anti-
criminality laws and those involving land traffic management.

WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the PCCMG and the LGU-MARIHATAG is
needed in order to effectuate the partnership above-mentioned;

NOW, THEREFORE, WE, THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF PHILIPPINE CIVIC
CRIME MONITORING GROUP (PCCMG) - MARIHATAG CHAPTER:

RESOLVE, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize the Chairman, Mr. DAVID S. AGOPITAC JR., to
sign the MOA between the PCCMG-MARIHATAG CHAPTER and the LGU-MARIHATAG, to be
represented by Mayor RAUL T. CUBIL;

RESOLVED, FINALLY, to furnish copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor and Office of the
Vice-mayor of LGU-MARIHATAG, Marihatag, Surigao del Sur.

ADOPTED UNANIMOUSLY this 8th day of APRIL, 2017 at PAGBAHANAN 3, POBLACION,

MUNICIPALITY OF MARIHATAG, SURIGAO DEL SUR.
