Cauliflower and Peas Curry

Ingredients

2 cups cauliflower broken in florets


1 cup frozen peas
3 tbsp. oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
tsp mustard seeds
1 onion chopped
1 tsp garlic crushed
2 tsp mixed masala
Salt to taste
cup Tomato, grated
Curry leaves
Coriander leaves to garnish

Method

1. Soak the cauliflowers and peas in boiling water for 3 minutes.


2. Drain off the water and heat oil in a pot and add cumin seeds,
mustard seeds, onion, and garlic. Fry for 3 minutes.
3. Add masala and the cauliflower and the peas. Add salt and lower
the heat. Stir well to coat the cauliflower with the masala.
4. After 5 minutes, add the grated tomato and curry leaves.
Continue cooking over medium heat for 5-10 minute until
vegetable tender.
5. The cauliflower should not be mushy or falling apart. Garnish
with chopped coriander leaves. Serve
