Contact with aggressive and corrosive media ( gases, acidic and
caustic fluids, salts etc ) must be avoided.
The MINICASE drives are suitable for operation at ambient
temperatures of 25C to +60C. At low temperatures the motor
requires a higher torque for start-up because of viscous lubricant.
Worm units have a combination of hard and soft gears. SIiding action with synthetic oiI as standard. CAUTION: Do not mix mineraI

Customer shaft
Cap screw
* Standard bores.
All dimesnsions are in inches unless otherwise noted.
Fixing element kit consists of stainless retaining washer, snap ring installed in hollow shaft groove, and socket head cap
screw. Fixing element can be installed into either side of the hollow shaft.
Customer must manufacture solid shaft length to be a minimum of the L dimension shown. Shaft end must be tapped to the
LS minimum length shown to allow the supplied cap screw to securely tighten.
The solid shaft will butt up against the installed snap ring for the inch shafts. Metric shaft design assumes shoulder on shaft
L from end. Retaining ring is not used in this application. Snap ring is not located at L as shown in metric bores. It is
located close to the end of the shaft for use in shaft removal (jacking).
If a shaft shoulder is machined onto the solid shaft on the side opposite the fixing element, the L dimension length should be
0.01 / -0.25. The snap ring is not needed. Fixing element can be installed into either side of the hollow shaft.
Machining a minimum corner break on the solid shaft end will ensure proper seating.
