Vendor Packages - for TESOL Kuwait Conference, 2017

TESOL Kuwait is a non-profit organization of teachers to speakers of other languages affiliated with
the US based TESOL International (46 000 members worldwide). We seek to improve the teaching and
learning of English and content subjects to non-native speakers of English.

TESOL Kuwaits fourth conference is to be held at the Gulf University of Science and Technology on,
Thursday, 16th November, Friday, 17th November and Saturday, 18th November, 2017. The conference
theme is- Promoting ELT: Changing Perspectives and New Horizons

Approximately 500 teachers from Kuwait are expected to attend the event. They are from government
and private elementary, middle, high school and international schools, local universities and related
organizations, such as language schools and other training establishments.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. David Nunan

Dr. David Nunan is former president of TESOL, the world's largest language teaching organization and
the world's leading textbook series author. He was the first person to serve as President from outside
North America. He is the Chair of the Research Committee, Director of the MA TESOL Program, and
Director of the David Nunan Institute for Language Education at Anaheim University, an online
university based in Anaheim, California, where he has been teaching online in its cutting edge MA
TESOL program since 1998. He is also Professor Emeritus at the University of Hong Kong where he
served as Chair Professor of Applied Linguistics and the Director of the English Centre for several
years. Prior to this, he was Director of Research and Development, NCELTR, and Coordinator of
Postgraduate Programs in Linguistics at Macquarie University, Sydney, Australia. He has published
over 100 books and articles in the areas of curriculum and materials development, classroom-based
research, and discourse analysis. His recent publications include What Is This Thing Called
Language? (Palgrave Macmillan), Practical Teaching: Grammar (McGraw Hill), and Learners' Voices:
Difference and Diversity in Language Teaching. Cambridge University Press (with P. Benson). His
textbook projects include ATLAS, Go For It, Listen In, Speak Out and Expressions, all published by
Cengage Heinle & Heinle, formerly Heinle & Heinle/Thomson Learning. Go For It was selected and
adapted by People's Education Press as a basal textbook series for middle schools in China. In 2003 he
was ranked the 7th most influential Australian in Asia by Business Review Weekly, and in 2005 he was
named one of the top "50 Australians who Matter".

Keynote Speaker: Professor Jack C Richards

Professor Jack C. Richards has had an active career in the Asia Pacific region and is currently an
honorary professor in the faculty of education at the University of Sydney, an honorary professor at the
University of Auckland and an adjunct professor at Victoria University, Wellington and at RELC,
Singapore. He is a frequent presenter worldwide and has written over 150 books and articles on
language teaching as well as many widely used classroom texts such as the best-selling Interchange
series (5th edition, Cambridge 2017). Recent publications are Curriculum Development in Language
Teaching (2nd edition, Cambridge 2017); 50 Tips for Professional Development (Cambridge 2017):
Key Issues in Language Teaching (Cambridge 2015:): Creativity In Language Teaching (with R. Jones,
editors: Routledge 2015); Approaches and Methods in Language Teaching 3rd edition (with Ted
Rodger, Cambridge 2014), and Language Learning Beyond the Classroom (with David Nunan, Editors,
Routledge 2014). Jack Richards has active interests in music and arts, has extensive collections of
decorative arts and in 2014 the Jack C Richards Decorative Arts Gallery was opened at the Tairawhiti
Museum, Gisborne New Zealand. He supports a number of scholarships for musicians, artists and
teachers. In 2011 he was awarded an honorary doctorate of literature by Victoria University, Wellington
for his services to education and the arts and in 2014 received the Award for Patronage from the Arts
Foundation of New Zealand.

By exhibiting at this conference you will have direct access to a focused group of key people working
and researching in the area to show your products and services to potential new markets.

Option 1- Basic Package- Price KD 100

A display table where you will showcase your products in a prominent location.
Your poster will be displayed in the shared open area.
From the time your booking is confirmed, we will display your company logo on the
conference website with a link to your site.
Option 2- Extended Package- Price KD 250

A display table where you will showcase and demonstrate your products on a prominent
location.
Your poster will be displayed in the immediate area of Registration desk.
You will be provided with a delegate list as the conference commences.
Your flyers will be placed inside the theater where all members begin at the start of each
conference day.
From the time of your booking is confirmed, we will include your logo on the conference
website with a link to your site.
One representative of your company will be invited for networking event on Friday evening.

Option 3- Premium Package- Price KD500

A display table where you will showcase and demonstrate your products in a prominent
location.
Your roll-up will be displayed in the immediate area of the Registration desk.
You will be provided with a delegate list as the conference commences.
Your flyers will be placed inside theater where all members begin at the start of each
conference day.
A flyer/ brochure/ promotional item/ giveaway will be included in the participant packs.
From the time your booking is confirmed, we will include your logo on the conference
website with a link to your site.
You will be provided with a timetabled slot during the conference to give a commercial
presentation with audio/visual system.
Two representatives from your company will be invited for a networking event on Friday
evening.
