NCAAs second playdate was off to an interesting start as Perpetual brought the wrong
set of uniforms on Tuesday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

The Altas, who were supposed to play in their light-colored jerseys, had to use of their
maroon jerseys while St. Benilde donned green jerseys, leading to the confusion.

The start of the game was delayed for over 40 minutes before the NCAA management
committee decided to push through with it.

Perpetual was charged with a technical foul for gaffe, with Matthew Johnson canning
the lone freebie to start the game for the Blazers.

NCAA Season 93 commissioner Bai Cristobal, though, said the decision is not yet final
with the NCAA Mancom set to discuss possible repercussions for the mix-up.

We have to wait for whatever results (of the meeting). Its not a decision, but we have
to wait for the (final decision) because there are new ground rules and theyre still
discussing it, he said.

St. Benilde is no stranger to events like this.

The Junior Blazers surrendered a victory to the Letran Squires in the juniors
tournament two years back after three players wore jerseys over the prescribed 4 to 19
numbers.

The Blazers were also awarded a game back in 2008 when the league decided to
overturn San Bedas win over them after Sam Ekwe wore the wrong uniform.
