NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF THE 2ND QUARTER

NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL
Presidential Decree no 1566, Strengthening the Philippines Disaster Control,
Capability and Establishing the National Program on Community Disaster
Preparedness.

In accordance with the NDRRMC memo. Number 76 S. 2017 and DEPED Lapu-
lapu City Divivsion Memo number 195 S. 2017, otherwise known as CONDUCT OF
THE 2ND NATIONAL SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL.

It is our manual to be able to practice and internalize the risk reduction

measure to eventually make a habit of being prepared before, during and
after a calamity, be it natural or human made / induced hazard.
As part of the Disaster Risk Reduction Management System in this manner
the Sabang Elementary School SDRRMC Strictly comply and follow the
mandate of the aforesaid event.

To simulate an earthquake bell was rang at 1400H and all the pupils,
teachers, personnels and other people inside the school campus of Sabang
Elementary School Executed the Duck Cover and Hold. After the bell stops
ringing the evacuation have been followed. Following the evacuation map all
the participants has reached to the Safe Area immediately.

The activities, drill and the whole activity was evaluated right after and it
turned out to be very successful. TO God is the glory!
